The Northwest Region of the Astronomical League (NWRAL) encompasses Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. It is made up of member clubs and societies, non-member
organizations (our Friends) and M.A.L.'s (Members At Large).
The purpose of the Region is to promote amateur astronomy, to foster the growth of the Astronomical League, to support Dark Skies, to encourage fellowship among the regions
membership, and to act as a liaison (as a voting voice) between it's members and the Astronomical League.
